Nina C. Hinseth, age 78, of Willmar, died Saturday evening, June 2nd at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Wednesday, June 6 at Gausdal Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. The interment will be in the Colfax Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
Nina Corrine Hinseth was born on March 30, 1934, on the family farm, north of New London, the daughter of Sigrud (Streed) and Knute Hinseth. She grew up in the New London area and was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in New London, received her education in the Windy Hill District 21 School and was confirmed at Green Lake Lutheran Church near Spicer. She worked at home, helped on the farm and after her mother's death she took care of her father. She moved to Willmar in the mid 1960's and worked at the Sheltered Workshop, Bethesda Country Home and Bethesda Homes in Willmar. Nina was a long time member of the Green Lake Lutheran Church and took part in the church activities as she could.
She is survived by five brothers: Herman (and Phyllis) Hinseth of Eden Prairie, Gordon (and Mary) Hinseth of Bloomington, Orville (and Esther) Hinseth of Lakewood, Colorado, Clinton (and Dorothy) Hinseth of Sunburg and Howard (and Beverly) Hinseth of Minneapolis. Nina is also survived by several nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and friends.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Maurine Hinseth, Doris Schoumaker and Edna Helmer.
