Pablo Zayas Rodríguez Sr., de 72 años, residente de Willmar, falleció el viernes 22 de noviembre de 2024 en el Hospital St. Cloud.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 4 de diciembre a las 10 a.m. y a continuación, a las 11 a.m., será el funeral, ambos en la funeraria Peterson Brothers en Willmar. www.petersonbrothers.com

Pablo nació el 2 de marzo de 1952, en La Habana, Cuba, hijo de Rafael Ángel Zayas López y María Luisa Rodríguez. Creció y se educó en Cuba. En 1980, Pablo vino a los Estados Unidos y residió en Minnesota. Trabajó durante muchos años en Jennie-O Foods. Sus pasatiempos incluían la música, el baile y la reparación de automóviles. Pablo siempre mantuvo un gran amor por su tierra natal... ¡CUBA!

A Pablo le sobreviven un primo, Pascual, sus tres hijos y un nieto; su compañera de más de 20 años, Lucila, y sus tres hijos, Belquis, José y Andrea, nueve nietos y una bisnieta; además de otros familiares en CUBA.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres.

Pablo Zayas Rodriguez Sr., age 72, of Willmar, passed away Friday morning, November 22, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. www.petersonbrothers.com

Pablo was born on March 2, 1952, in Havana, Cuba, the son of Rafael Angel Zayas Lopez and Maria Luisa Rodriguez. He grew up and received his education in Cuba. In 1980, Pablo came to the United Stated and resided in Minnesota. He has been employed for many years at Jennie-O Foods. His hobbies include music, dancing and fixing cars. Pablo always kept a fond love of his homeland…CUBA!

Pablo is survived locally by a cousin, Pascual and his three children and grandson; his special friend of over 20 years, Lucila, and her three children, Belquis, Jose and Andrea, nine grandchildren and a great granddaughter; besides other family members still in CUBA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
