Patricia "Patty" L. Anderson, 56, of Sunburg, died May 14, at St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Sunburg Free Lutheran Church in Sunburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Sunburg Funeral Home.
Patty was born August 25, 1953, Madison, Wisconsin, to Earl and Dorothy (Richard) Schumacher. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis West High School in 1971. On August 12, 1988, she married Dean Anderson and they lived in Hanover. In 2005, they moved to the Sunburg area. Patty cared for her family, her animals and the garden. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Scrabble, gardening, decorating and attending garage sales.
She is survived by her husband: Dean; a son: Lucas Schumacher (and Lisa Robertson) of Watertown; two daughters: Willow (and Patrick) Warren of Belle Plaine and Sarah Anderson of Maple Lake; a grandson: Seth Schumacher; two brothers: Joseph (and Jane) Schumacher of Poynette, Wisconsin, and Andrew Schumacher of Utah; three sisters: twin sister, Peggy (and Richard) Dawson of Sunburg, Jeanne (and Bruce) Kaufman of New Hope and Nancy Schumacher (and Jim Sipe) of Randolph; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, John Schumacher in 2005.
