Patricia Engel

Patricia "Patty" J. Engel, age 65, of Willmar, died Wednesday evening, Dec. 25, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Church of God Cemetery near Pennock. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday. www.petersonbrothers.com

Patricia "Patty" Jane Engel was born on January 21, 1948, in Belgrade, Minnesota, the daughter of Emil and Florence (Erickson) Engel. She grew up and received her education in the Willmar community. Patty has lived in Sauk Centre, Cambridge and the Minneapolis - St. Paul area before returning to Willmar in 1986. Since then, she has been employed with the Kandi-Works D.A.C.

Patty enjoyed puzzles, table games, listening to music, especially Elvis, and visiting with her family and friends. She loved to laugh and brought joy to her co-workers and care givers. Blessed be her memory!

She is survived by six siblings, Orville (and Rose) Engel of McGreger, TX., Arlene (and Al) Tredway of Akron, OH., Ozella Rubald of Denver, CO., Eldoris Engel of Minneapolis, Ralph (and Janice) Engel of Spicer and LeRoy Engel of Fairbanks, AK.; besides many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Stanley Engel and Phyllis Gott.
