Patricia M. Jager, 73, of Spicer, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at home. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer. www.petersonbrothers.com
Pat was born September 10, 1950, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, to Richard and Lorraine Louden, and graduated from Sauk Centre High School. She married Philip Jager in 1970, and they made their home on Green Lake. Pat worked for the New London-Spicer School District for 25 years, tirelessly promoting the free and reduced lunch and breakfast programs so that no child went without a meal on her watch.
Pat is survived by her three daughters, Kristina Jager (and Odin Gilbertson) of St. Paul, Lindsey Jager of Madison, Wisconsin and Ashley Jager of Spicer, and two grandchildren, Gabriel and Brynhilde Gilbertson. Also surviving are two brothers, Tim (and Nancy) Louden and Steve (and Sue) Louden; seven sisters-in-law, Mary (and Dick) Horn, Judy Loudon, Debbie Louden, Trudi (and Billy) Glenz Louden-Corder, Josie (and Lee) Kerfeld, Judy Pieper and Jean Otte; three brothers-in-law, Peter (and Sue) Jager, Paul (and Lucy) Jager, and Rich Essler, and innumerable nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Phil in 2021; four brothers; one sister and several in-laws.
