She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1972. Pat continued her education and attended two years at Willmar College in Accounting and Business. On July 7, 1973 she was married to Randal Petersen and they made their home in Willmar for a time and then moved to Wisconsin, settling in Chippewa Falls. She also worked part time at Herberger's fragrance counter for 10 years and because of her love of numbers she worked part time with H & R Block for 13 years. Pat will be remembered for her skills in the kitchen, her love of animals, crossword puzzles, the Olson cabin on George Lake, and floating in the water and reading a good book. She was loved by all at the many jobs she had throughout her life.
She is survived by her fiancee, Eugene "Gene" Adams of Spicer; one son, A.J. (and special friend, Emily Baker) Petersen of St. Cloud; and one daughter, Erin (and special friend, Koush Dutta) Petersen of Seattle, Washington.
