Paul Cameron Frederickson, age 49, of Willmar, died Monday morning, August 24, at the St. Cloud Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 27, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at a later date at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery.
Paul was born on September 30, 1959, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the son of Rogers "Freddie" and Joan (Nordgren) Frederickson. He was baptized at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar and grew up in the New London-Spicer community, graduating from NL-S High School in 1977. In 1978, he was married to Diane Olson and they later divorced. In 1989, he was married to Kyla Hallman and they later divorced. Paul lived his entire life in the Willmar area and was self employed in the poultry industry as a turkey farmer for many years. Paul enjoyed fishing, camping, trips to the Duluth area and watching the ships on Lake Superior.
Paul is survived by his fiance, Sharon Adams of Willmar; six children, Audrey (and Tom) Shemon of Spicer, Alan Frederickson of Litchfield, Erik Frederickson of Willmar, Justin Frederickson of Willmar, Brandi Frederickson of Willmar and Tami Frederickson of Willmar and ten grandchildren. Also surviving is his mother, Joan Frederickson of New London and three siblings, Robin (and Karla) Frederickson of Monticello, Michele (and Dan) Plowman of Carlos and Danny (and Michaelene) Frederickson of Coon Rapids, besides other relatives and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Rogers "Freddie" in 2007.
