Pauline Ann (Shoultz) Henrickson, 98, of Willmar died Sunday, September 15, surrounded by family at Sterling House Assisted Living in Willmar.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, September 18, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Willmar, MN. The interment will be in the Vinje Lutheran Cemetery. She was born December 21, 1914, in Litchfield, MN, to John and Amelia (Lenhardt) Shoultz. She grew up and received her education in Litchfield. Pauline graduated from Litchfield High School, where she was a member of the national champion girls basketball team, and later attended teacher training.
Pauline married Harold Linton Henrickson on July 9, 1942, in Willmar and made her home there the rest of her life. She worked as a waitress, for the Great Northern Railway, and at Rice Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf, bridge club, and all Minnesota sports teams. She was an active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, and like any good Willmarite, made many friends over coffee. She'll be remembered for having a feisty attitude and generous heart her "whole livin' life."
