Randy LeRoy Dickerson was born on November 1, 1950, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Arlo and Ardella (Henke) Dickerson. He grew up on Lake Florida and graduated from New London-Spicer High School in 1968. He attended the Willmar Vo-Tech and then graduated from St. Cloud State College. Following college, Randy became employed with Control Data Corporation in Redwood Falls in the quality control department. On December 29, 1984, Randy was united in marriage to Rosemary "Rose" Alice Broesder and they made their home on a farm near Kandiyohi. Randy worked for many years at Holm Brothers Hardware Store and then at Hardware Hank in Willmar. He was also self-employed as a locksmith. Randy was always there to help others with any task needed. He could trouble shoot and almost fix anything.

Randy was fascinated with aviation. He earned his pilot license at the age of 14. He loved attending airshows (near and far) and was an avid fan of the Thunderbirds and Blue Angles. Randy enjoyed racing sailboats, cliff repelling, building and operating R/C boats and planes. He was a 40+ year member of the Willmar R/C club. Randy cherished the rural farm life with Rose and their cats and dogs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rose; his family, Daryl (and Dawn) Broesder of Benson (and their children, Thomas and Lucas), Bill (and Lynae) Dickerson of Willmar and Bob (and Connie) Dickerson of Spicer; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Arlo Jr. “Dick”.
