Rebecca Mae Hanson

Rebecca "Becky" Mae Hanson died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 28, at her home in Willmar.

Becky was born to Milo and Helen (Anderson) Hanson on February 19, 1956, in Dawson, Minnesota.  Becky graduated from Dawson High School and subsequently attended a Covenant Bible School in Canada for a year.  She then attended Canby vocational school to learn to be a chef.  Becky lived in Lac Qui Parle County until after her schooling when she moved to Willmar where she lived the rest of her life.   She worked at several jobs through West Central Industries in Willmar.  She faithfully attended the First Covenant Church in Willmar.  Becky loved caring for her cat, Cheyenne, who was her faithful companion for the past 14 years.  

She is survived by two sisters, Sandra (Ivan) Sagal and Rita Guimont, and one brother, Clifford Hanson, besides other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Helen Hanson, her stepmother, Evelyn Hanson, and her sister-in-law, Dawn Hanson.
