Rita Hamstad

Rita Lois Hamstad, 51, of St. Cloud, formerly of Willmar, died Thursday, August 15, in St. Cloud.
The family will hold memorial services at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 31, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Murdock.
Rita was born December 28, 1961, at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, Minnesota, the daughter of Clarence and Eleanor (Tellers) Hamstad. She graduated from Kerkhoven High School and began working for Jennie-O Turkey. She later moved to Austin, Minnesota with Mark Dineen and worked at a nursing home there.
She is survived by two children,Bobbi Jo Deneen and Tyler Deneen, both of St. Louis Park; one granddaughter, Alaina; her mother, Eleanor Hamstad of Willmar; four brothers, Richard Hamstad of Spicer, Joseph (and Lois) Hamstad of Spicer, Robert (and Yvonne) Hamstad of Mora, and Douglas Hamstad of Dillworth; two sisters, Mary Hamstad of Willmar and Delores Prahl of Kerkhoven; 31 nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence in 1976; a brother, Michael in 1978; and Mark Dineen.
