Ronald A. Cramlet, 64, of Atwater, died Saturday, April 2, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Atwater. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Atwater. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson Brothers Atwater Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Ronald Allen Cramlet was born December 31, 1946 in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Derwood and Irene (Rodahl) Cramlet. He grew up in Benson, was confirmed at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church and graduated from Benson High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from1964 to 1967. In 1969, he married Sharon Hendrickson. Ronald received training at the Benson Bakery and worked as a baker in Benson, Ames, IA, Cherokee, IA, Grove City and Willmar. With the closing of Juba's More 4 in Willmar, he retired from baking and began working as a certified nursing assistant at Woven Hearts/Alterra Sterling House in Willmar. He was a former member of the Atwater Lions Club and the Atwater City Council.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his children, Leah (and Michael) Peterka of Cold Spring, Lynnae Cramlet-Shoultz of Atwater, Laura (and Juan) Colon of St. Cloud and Eric (and Teri) Cramlet of Lake Isabella, MI; five grandchildren, Logan Peterka, Grayson Peterka, Levi Shoultz, Alexis Colon and Diego Colon; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Daine Shoultz.
