Ronald L. Hauser, age 69, of Willmar, formerly of Raymond, died Sunday morning, June 1, at Infinia Care Center in Willmar.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond with Rev. Allan Bjorklund officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Ronald Lee Hauser was born August 11, 1938, in Willmar, the son of Alfred and Alta (Henslin) Hauser. He grew up on a farm near Raymond. He attended country school, Willmar schools and graduated from Raymond High School. He attended vocational school in Minneapolis for radio and television repair. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1956 to 1962. On June 21, 1958, he married Lynette Miller in Raymond. He worked in radio and television repair for three years and then farmed near Raymond until 1985. He later worked for Randy and Doug Hultgren until he retired due to poor health. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching sports on TV, especially the Twins and Vikings. He was also an avid bird watcher.
He is survived by his wife, Lynette; three daughters, Tammi Chastain of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ronette (and Aubrey) Hauser-Jones of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Nichole Hauser of Raymond; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Eldon Hauser of Willmar and Elloyd (and Darlene) Hauser of Minnetrista; two sisters, Arlys (and Duane) Lindgren of Willmar and Susan Hauser of Eagan and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeff and a daughter, Terri.
