Rosabelle Hensch, age 98, of Willmar, passed away Sunday evening, September 22, at Bethesda Grand.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Calvary Lutheran Cemetery in Willmar. Memorials to honor Rosabelle's life may be directed to the local "Meals on Wheels" program. Arrangements are entrusted to Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. www.petersonbrothers.com
Rosabelle was born on August 9, 1926, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Edward and Mathilda (Christenson) Logan. She grew up and received her education in the Benson community. On October 6, 1945, Rosabelle was united in marriage to Kenneth Hensch. They made their home near DeGraff, Murdock and Brooten. While living in Brooten, she worked for an egg company in Paynesville. In 1971, they moved to Willmar and she worked at Willmar Cookie Company, Willmar Poultry and then the Willmar Bus Company. In 1991, she retired due to health reasons. Over the years, Rosabelle and Kenneth were foster parents to over 14 children. Since 1971, she has been a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and was active in ladies aide.
She is survived by her four children, Frank (and Shannon) Hensch of Motley, Carol (and Dave) Ashton of White Bear Lake, Betty (and Dave) Radabaugh of Willmar and Dennis (and Barbara) Hensch of North Branch; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Sandy Logan of Richfield, besides other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth in 2016; two sisters, Arlene and Rosemary; and three brothers, Charles "Chuck", Melvin and Roger.
