Ruby May Little, age 85, of Willmar, died Sunday morning, May 25, at Betheda Pleasant View Nursing Home in Willmar.

Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ruby May Little was born on May 9, 1929, in International Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Eugene and Mable (Bahr) Holler. She grew up in International Falls, graduated from International Falls High School and received her nurses training in Minneapolis. Ruby returned to work in International Falls as a nurse at the hospital and nursing home there. On August 22, 1950, in International Falls, Ruby was united in marriage to Frank Archie Little. They lived in Seattle and Bremerton, Washington and in International Falls and Faribault, Minnesota while Ruby worked in the health care industry. Ruby and Frank enjoyed traveling together throughout the United States before moving to Willmar in 1986. They were the caretakers of Westview Village for several years. In 2001, Frank died and in 2009, Ruby moved into Bethesda Pleasant View Nursing Home. Ruby's hobbies included camping, fishing, dancing, music, embroidery, sewing and playing card games. She cherished the times spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by three children, Cheryl Rae Strand of Bartlett, Texas, Sandra Kae Emerson of Rosemount and Kory Lynn (and Steven) LeBon of Kandiyohi; seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Darrell (and Jana) Holler of Sarasota, Florida and one brother-in-law, Charles Thompson of Yuma, Arizona, besides other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Donald; two sisters, June Earley and Lois Thompson; and one grandson, Frank Peterson.
