Ruth Anderson

Ruth I. Anderson, age 77, of Willmar, died Tuesday afternoon, October 31st, at Infinia Health Care of Willmar.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, Nov. 3, at Vinje Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Funeral arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
Ruth was born on February 1, 1929, on the family farm near Watkins, Minnesota, the daughter of Martin and Jorgena Lunderby. She grew up and received her education in the Watkins community. On May 21, 1948, in Litchfield, Minnesota, she was united in marriage to William P. "Bill" Anderson and they made their home in the Willmar area. In 1966, Ruth received her diploma from the Willmar Area Vocational School and was employed in the admissions department and as a counselor at the W.R.T.C. She was a member of Vinje Lutheran Church. Ruth enjoyed flower gardens and feeding the birds and deer.
She is survived by her husband, Bill of Willmar; two siblings, Alf Lunderby of Clearwater and Judy Hukride of Baxter, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and one sister.
