Ruth Hildahl

Ruth E. Hildahl, age 83, of Willmar, died Saturday evening, May 29th, at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 2nd, at Calvary Lutheran Church Chapel. The interment will be at Vinje Lutheran Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.

Ruth Elaine Hildahl was born on April 11, 1927, in Willmar, the daughter of Milla (Lynne) and John Hildahl. She grew up in Willmar, attended the public schools and graduated from Willmar High School in 1947. She moved to Minneapolis and was employed at Fairview Hospital in the Dietary Department. Ruth also worked for Manpower, Inc. doing clerical work. She returned to Willmar in 1972 and was employed in the Dietary Department at Rice Hospital and later worked in the Laundry Department at Bethesda Homes until her retirement.

She is survived by several cousins and other family and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
