Susan "Susie" Margaret Kascht

Susan “Susie” M. Kascht, age 59, of Willmar, passed away Wednesday morning, October 16, at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon followed by a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Interment will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Benson. www.petersonbrothers.com

Susan Margaret Kascht was born on January 27, 1965, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Jerome and Elizabeth Jane (Tersteeg) Kascht. She grew up in Benson and received her education from the Willmar School District. Susie made her home in Willmar living at area group homes. She worked for many years at KFC in Willmar. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, traveling, music, animals (especially horses, dogs and cats) and visiting with people. Susie was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

She is survived by her three siblings, David (and Lori) Kascht of Bozeman, MT., Steve Kascht of Medicine Lake, MT., and Maribeth Kascht of Phoenix, AZ.; and her Diversified Lifestyle Family: leader, Michelle O’Toole and housemates, Cathy and Margaret, besides many other friends.

 She was preceded in death by her parents.
