Thad Lee Meyer, age 46, of Raymond died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Dec. 13, from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.
A private family service will be held. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, from 2-4 p.m. at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Central Minnesota Christian School, building fund are preferred.
Thad Lee Meyer was born on April 7, 1965, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Duane L. and Betty P. (VanBuren) Meyer. He grew up in the Raymond area and graduated from Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg in 1983. Following high school, Thad worked with his father on the family farm for 19 years. Since 2001, he had been employed with Hanson Communications.
Thad had a passion to fix and repair old tractors. He was a loyal friend and a hard worker. His gentle personality was a gift from God.
He is survived by his parents, Duane and Betty Meyer of Clara City; his two sisters, Noel and Nicole of Tulsa, OK.; four nephews and three nieces, besides other relatives and friends.
