Theodore "Ted" Stone, 81, of Atwater, formerly of Two Harbors, died Saturday morning, September 1, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Private family services will be held in Two Harbors a later date. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Atwater Funeral Home.
Theodore Mark Stone was born May 14, 1931 in Two Harbors, Minnesota, to early Castle Danger residents, John and Agnes Stone. He went to school in Two Harbors until enlisting in the Air Force in 1948 at the age of 17. He proudly served until 1952, spending 1950-1952 stationed in Korea during the war. He spent most of his life as a self-employed carpenter and also owned a cabinet shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard; a sister, Evelyn; and two infant grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Marceline; his sons, Thomas, James and Randy; his former wife; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
