Thomas (Leo) G. Kottke, age 53, of Willmar, died Saturday, October 10th, at his home in Willmar.
There will be a time of gathering Saturday, October 17th, from 4-7 P.M. at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. The service and interment will be private.
Thomas Gene Kottke was born June 18, 1956, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, to Robert and Lorraine (Bunke) Kottke. He moved with his family to Willmar in 1964 and graduated from Willmar High School in 1975. He moved to Minneapolis and worked Cherne Industries for 27 years. In 2007, he retired and returned to Willmar. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and supported of many outdoor organizations. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by two brothers: Keith (and Lori) Kottke of Blaine and Jeff (and Patty) Kottke of Willmar; two sisters: Cindy Forbes of Willmar and Catherine Aalderks of Renville; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
